Cookies and local storage are small files and records a website saves in your browser. This page lists everything Bela Online stores and why.
What we store
Most of what we store is strictly necessary for the service to work or a setting you chose. Under the ePrivacy Directive (art. 5(3)) and the Croatian Electronic Communications Act this needs no consent.
Usage statistics (PostHog) are stored only if you agree in the cookie banner; they are marked "with consent" in the table. We have no ads and no third-party advertising cookies.
Error reports (Sentry) store nothing in your browser. When something breaks, we send the error through our own server, without your IP address. More in the Privacy Policy.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-…-auth-token | cookie | keeps you signed in (session), also as a guest at a table you were invited to | until you sign out, at most 400 days |
sb-…-auth-token-code-verifier | cookie | security check during sign-in | until sign-in completes |
bela.postavke | local storage | your settings, e.g. whether sound is on | until you clear them |
bela.gost | local storage | the name and avatar you picked as a guest; they stay on this device only | until you clear them |
bela.stol, bela.stol.sedmica | local storage | the rules of the last table you made (for Bela and for Sedmica), so the next one starts the same | until you clear them |
bela.vjezba | local storage | a random guest key that opens your practice game against the bots on the server, without a name or other data | until you clear it; the server honours it for at most a day after you last played |
bela.izgled | local storage | the table, cards, card back and frame you picked as a guest; they stay on this device only | until you clear them |
bela-app-… | file cache (service worker) | the site’s own files (code, fonts, card images, sounds) so it opens faster; no data about you | until the next version of the site or until you clear them |
bela-consent | local storage | your choice in the cookie banner, so we do not ask every time | until you change or clear it |
ph_…_posthog | local storage with consent: Usage statistics | a random browser and session identifier for usage statistics (PostHog); next to it __ph_opt_in_out_… holds your choice | until you withdraw consent or clear site data |
ph_…_window_id | session storage with consent: Usage statistics | tells browser tabs apart within one session (PostHog) | until you close the tab |
Signing in with Google or Apple
If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we send you to their page, where they set their own cookies under their own rules. We do not read those cookies.
How to remove them
Signing out removes the session cookies. You can remove everything else in your browser settings (clear data for this site); you will then need to sign in again and your settings go back to the defaults.
